In Memory of Ajithan G. Kurup



Before the world could abandon him
He abandoned the world 
And its redundant residents.

It was then that the world vengefully cursed:

"Ye be an Orpheus of the twilight
Where the dying light copulates with the shadow,
Breeding ambiguities abundant;
Where the darkness of absences 
Effaces all presences;
Where each erasure is an open wound of a flute,
Yearning for significance;
Where illusion meets reality,
Making truths shine through untruths.

Ye be a dweller of the dark.
May your days too be aflame with the night."
